BNP and Jamaat clash over election campaign in Bhola, 10 injured
During the election campaign in Bhola, a clash broke out between BNP and Jamaat workers and supporters due to a verbal altercation. At least 10 people from both sides were injured in the incident. The incident took place in Mulaipattan village of Tobgi union in Borhanuddin upazila on Saturday (January 31) morning.
Locals said that in the morning, Jamaat candidate Fazlul Karim’s workers were campaigning for the Bhola-2 constituency in different areas of the village. When he reached the guard’s house, he had a verbal altercation with Tobgi union workers’ party organizing secretary Yusuf and his brother, Jamaat Amir Abdul Halim of the same union. At one point, a clash broke out between the two sides. At least ten people from both sides were injured during this time.
