Indonesia’s Tsingshan raises stainless steel export prices
Indonesia’s Tsingshan raised export prices for 304 stainless steel by another $50/t on 16 Jan’26, marking the third hike this month and taking cumulative hikes since Jan’26 to $140/t. The producer also raised 316L prices by $100/t. LME nickel prices have eased from recent peaks but remain firm near $17,600/t, up 5.6% m-o-m. Cost pressures persist, while downstream buying remains cautious.
