India: Trade-level HR plate prices hold steady w-o-w
Indian HR plate prices (20-40 mm, Gr E250 Br.) held steady w-o-w at INR 51,100/t ($570/t)ex-Mumbai on 17 Dec’25, as per BigMint’s benchmarkweekly assessment (for the distributor-to-dealer segment and excluding 18% GST). The price stability reflects balanced market conditions. Similarly, prices of hot strip mill (HSM) plates (IS2062, Grade E250 Br, 5-10 mm) were stable at INR 46,800/t ($522/t) exy-Mumbai.
