Rotary stands by cancer patients

The Rotary Club of Dhaka Fort stands by cancer patients and institutions. At a function held last Friday, Rotary provided financial assistance to cancer treatment institutions and individuals.
The function was presided over by former Tax Commissioner Swapan Kumar Saha and was attended by CPD Distinguished Fellow Professor Mustafizur Rahman, National Board of Revenue member Barrister Mutasim Billah Farooqui, Club President Rokeya Farooqui Bithi, former Governor Engineer Zainul Abedin and others.
Dr. Habibullah Talukder Raskin, founder of the cancer treatment institution Community Oncology Center Trust, and cancer patients were presented with financial assistance checks. In addition, a wide range of social activities were presented by Rotary at the function.
