One party is keeping the government busy with demands to postpone the elections: Mirza Fakhrul
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has commented that one party is keeping the government busy with various demands to postpone the upcoming elections. He said this while participating in a view-sharing meeting organized at Danarhat Begunbari Union of Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila on Thursday (October 16) morning.
Stating that BNP wants to win the hearts of the people through love, not revenge or revenge, the BNP Secretary General said that there will be no compromise on the elections. The people want the elections in February itself.
He also said that the people now want to exercise their voting rights. But one party is conspiring to sabotage the elections.
Stating that BNP has not given up despite hundreds of tortures and oppressions by the Awami League, this senior BNP leader said that BNP leaders and activists were harassed in false cases while in power. Yet our goal was one, to ensure the fall of the fascists and restore democracy.
