470 people admitted to dengue hospital, no deaths

No deaths due to dengue were reported in the last 24 hours. However, 470 dengue patients were admitted to hospital during this period. This information was given in a press release by the Directorate General of Health Services on Tuesday (August 26). So far this year, 118 people have died of dengue. A total of 29,514 people have been infected with dengue so far. From January to December 31, 2024, a total of 1,01,214 people have been infected with dengue and a total of 575 people have died of dengue. Earlier, from January 1 to December 31, 2023, a total of 1,705 people died of dengue, while a total of 321,179 people were admitted to hospital due to dengue.
