Tarique Rahman joins Chhatra Dal rally virtually in Shahbag

The Chhatra Dal student rally has begun in Shahbagh in the capital. The rally began a little after 3 pm on Sunday (August 3) with the recitation of the Quran and the national anthem. BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman, Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and former presidents and general secretaries of Chhatra Dal have already joined the rally at 3:15 pm. Chhatra Dal leaders have claimed that this Chhatra Dal rally is the best student rally in history. This is the first major mass gathering of Chhatra Dal after the July coup. However, this time the rally does not see the traditional processions, banners and crowds of festoons. Chhatra Dal has already given six-point instructions to its leaders and activists on the occasion of the rally. The central leadership has instructed the leaders and activists not to bring any kind of banners, festoons or placards around the rally.
