Three more people die of dengue in the last 24 hours

Three people have died of dengue fever transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes in the country in the last 24 hours. During this time, 409 people have been infected with the virus and admitted to the hospital. This information was given in a regular dengue press release sent by the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Sunday (July 27). The release said that among those who have been admitted to the hospital due to dengue in the last 24 hours, 74 people are in Barisal division (outside the City Corporation), 72 people are in Chittagong division (outside the City Corporation), 67 people are in Dhaka division (outside the City Corporation), 32 people are in Dhaka North City Corporation, and 54 people are in Dhaka South City Corporation. There are also 11 people in Mymensingh (outside the City Corporation), 28 in Khulna division (outside the City Corporation), 51 in Rajshahi division (outside the City Corporation), 16 in Rangpur division (outside the City Corporation) and 4 in Sylhet division (outside the City Corporation). In the last 24 hours, 530 dengue patients have been discharged from hospitals. With this, a total of 18,223 patients have been discharged from the hospital this year. From January 1 to July 26, the total number of dengue patients in the country is 19,529. Of them, 58.6 percent are men and 41.4 percent are women. With four deaths from dengue in the last 24 hours, 76 people have died from dengue so far this year.
