Ishraq’s supporters continue to hold a sit-in in front of the DSCC building

As part of a series of programs demanding that BNP leader Ishraq Hossain be sworn in as the mayor of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), his supporters are holding a sit-in today.

Ishraq’s supporters were seen gathering at various places in front of the building on Sunday (June 22). They gathered in front of the DSCC building and raised various slogans in favor of the oath.

The protesters urged the government to swear him in as the mayor of Dhaka South City in accordance with the court’s verdict. They warned of a tough movement if the oath is not administered immediately.

In addition, Ishraq’s supporters are demanding the resignation of the local government advisor, accusing him of contempt of court by not taking the oath.
