Israeli airstrikes kill 1, wound 12 in southern Lebanon

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have carried out another airstrike in southern Lebanon. A separate strike in the town of Tibnin killed at least one person and wounded 12 others.
The Israeli military said the targeted strikes began on Wednesday in response to Hezbollah’s violation of the agreement. Before the airstrikes, Israel ordered civilians in the village of Mansouri, 25 kilometers from Tibnin, to evacuate to safe havens.
The IDF warned that it would conduct special operations targeting Hezbollah’s active hideouts in the area. Video footage circulating on social media showed thick smoke rising after the airstrikes in the Mansouri area. In retaliation, resistance fighters detonated a powerful explosion in a booby-trapped building in southern Lebanon, killing two Israeli soldiers.
