Price of 12 kg LPG cylinder increased by Tk 70 to Tk 1,598
The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has increased the price of a 12 kg liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder by Tk 70. As a result, the new price of a 12 kg cylinder at the consumer level stands at Tk 1,598. In a notification issued by BERC today, Sunday (August 2), the new price of LPG for the month of August was announced.
The notification mentioned that the new price has been fixed at the retail level at the consumer level including VAT. The new price will be effective from 6 pm today. BERC said that the new price will remain in force until further orders.
