4 people die of measles symptoms in 24 hours
In the last 24 hours (from 8 am on Saturday to 8 am on Sunday), four more people have died of measles symptoms across the country. During this period, 1,137 people have been newly infected. This information was given in the regular report on measles by the Directorate General of Health Services today, Sunday (August 2).
The report said that although 4 children died of measles symptoms in the last 24 hours, no child’s death was confirmed as measles. According to the information of this government agency, 748 children have died of measles symptoms in the country since March 15. And 96 children have died of confirmed measles. The total number of deaths is 844. Earlier, 3 children died across the country in 24 hours on Saturday and 872 new people were infected during this period.
