High-level meeting on replacing the current sound system of the National Parliament

A high-level meeting was held on replacing the current sound system of the National Parliament. The meeting was held in the Cabinet Room of the National Parliament Building today, Monday (July 27). Acting Speaker of the National Parliament Barrister Kaiser Kamal presided over the meeting.
The Prime Minister and Leader of the House Tarique Rahman were present at the meeting. Also present at the meeting were Opposition Leader Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, Housing and Public Works Minister Zakaria Taher, Law Minister Md. Asaduzzaman, Chief Whip of the government party Nurul Islam Moni, Chief Whip of the opposition party Nahid Islam and concerned senior officials.
A detailed presentation was given at the meeting about various modern technology-based sound systems from around the world to replace the current sound system of the National Parliament. At this time, the Public Works Department highlighted possible technical alternatives, technical capabilities and implementation plans.
The presentation discussed in detail the technical features, functionality and various aspects of a modern sound system compatible with the activities of the National Parliament. The guests present expressed their opinions on the matter and provided necessary instructions.
