Pedestrian killed in road accident in front of Fatullah Stadium
A pedestrian named Abul Hossain (55) was killed after being hit by an unidentified vehicle while crossing the road in Fatullah, Narayanganj. The accident occurred on Saturday (July 25) on Chasha-Signboard Road adjacent to Fatullah Stadium under Fatullah Police Station.
The deceased Abul Hossain’s home is in Narsingdi district. Police are trying to identify him and find out the exact cause of the accident. Eyewitnesses said that Abul Hossain was crossing the road when a speeding car hit him and fled the scene. He died on the spot.
Fatullah Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Mahbub Alam said that after receiving information, the police went to the spot and recovered the body. Work is underway to identify the vehicle involved in the accident and bring the driver to justice. Legal action is being taken in this incident.
