Those who could not take the HSC examination in any subject due to adverse weather or unavoidable reasons will be able to take the examination on the same date and with the same question paper under the Chittagong Board, said Education and Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr. ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon.
He said this in a statement given in the National Parliament today (July 15) under Rule 300 regarding the ongoing HSC and equivalent examinations. He said that the examinations were postponed in five districts (Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Khagrachari, Rangamati and Bandarban) due to adverse weather. However, some examinees from some districts of the country including Dhaka outside the Chittagong Board could not take part in the scheduled examinations due to adverse weather.
Considering this important stage in the lives of students, the minister said that those who could not take part in any subject of the ongoing HSC and equivalent examinations will be able to take the examination on the same date and time fixed by the Ministry of Education in the relevant subjects already postponed by the Chittagong Education Board. He mentioned that this opportunity has been given to the students with special consideration.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education has announced to take strict action regarding the mistakes in the Physics Paper I question paper of the HSC examination. The minister told the parliament that the people responsible for preparing the wrong question paper of Physics Paper I have already been temporarily suspended. At the same time, he assured the candidates that the candidates will be given full marks for the mistakes made in questions 6 and 7 of Physics Paper I.
