Awami League has no shame, they want to do politics again: Home Minister

Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed said that they cannot avoid responsibility for the torture and looting that the Awami League has carried out in the past days. Yet they have no remorse at all. They want to do politics again – they have no shame. However, the government does not want to stop anyone’s politics out of revenge, everything will be settled through the law.
He said these things while participating in a discussion meeting titled ‘Junction Day of Mass Uprising’ organized by the Nationalist Chhatra Dal at Dhaka University today, Wednesday (July 15). The Home Minister said that the government is working to bring back fascist friends wherever they are in the world and bring them under the law. The spirit of July must be maintained so that no government can become fascist in the future.
Mentioning the important role of students in all the historical movements of the country, he said that the student organization of this country will not be allowed to be tarnished. At the same time, he urged not to use the spirit of July for political gain.
