Pezeshkian vows to defend ‘every inch’ of Iranian territory

In response to recent comments by US President Donald Trump, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that they are committed to defending every inch of the Islamic Republic’s territory.
According to Al Jazeera, Trump claimed that the US had destroyed a large part of Iran’s military capabilities. In response, Pezeshkian said in a televised speech that the US rhetoric is going on, but the main question is whether they have achieved their goals on the battlefield. Pezeshkian said, “Their rhetoric is going on. But the question is, have they achieved their goals on the battlefield?”
Referring to the attempts to divide Iran, he said, “What have those who decided to try to divide our country achieved in the end?” The Iranian president added, “We will defend every inch of the country through our own actions.”
