10 people burnt in AC explosion at salon in Gulistan’s Alu Bazar

10 people, including craftsmen and customers, were burnt in an AC explosion at a salon in the Alu Bazar area of ​​the capital’s Gulistan. Nine of them are undergoing treatment at the National Burn Institute. The accident took place at a salon named ‘Arman Hair Cutting’ in the area on Tuesday (July 14) night.
The burnt customers are Md. Farooq (35), Rinku (30), Roni (36), Jasim (40), Rafiq (25). In addition, craftsmen Shamshed (30), Raju (34), Pappu (26), Shakib (17) and Arman (37) were burnt in the incident. Shaon Bin Rahman, resident surgeon at the National Burn Institute, said that among the burnt victims, Md. Farooq’s body was burnt to 50 percent, Rinku’s to 21 percent, Roni’s to 10 percent, Jasim’s to 8 percent and Rafiq’s to 12 percent.
In addition, artisan Shamshed suffered 15 percent burns, Raju suffered 18 percent burns, Pappu suffered 18 percent burns, Shakib suffered 1 percent burns, and Arman suffered 15 percent burns. He added that Shakib, among the burned victims, was discharged after receiving first aid. The rest were admitted and undergoing treatment.
