Teacher dies after being hit by an easy bike in Bauphal

A teacher named Md. Musa (50) was killed after being hit by an easy bike in Bauphal, Patuakhali. He was a teacher at Nurainpur Agrani Vidyapeeth Secondary School in the upazila. The accident occurred at around 8:30 pm on Friday (July 10) in the Nurainpur Bazar area of ​​Suryamani Union of the upazila. Md. Musa is the son of Yunus Mia, a resident of Nurainpur village of Suryamani Union.
Witnesses said that Musa was going from his home to the mosque to offer Isha prayers. While crossing the Kalishuri-Baphal road, a speeding easy bike ran over him. Later, locals rescued him in a seriously injured condition and admitted him to the emergency department of Bauphal Upazila Health Complex. The doctor on duty declared Musa dead at that time.
Doctor Naeem Sikder of Bauphal Upazila Health Complex confirmed the death and said that he was admitted to the hospital in a very serious condition. Arrangements were also made to send him to Dhaka for better treatment. But he died during the initial treatment. In this regard, Bauphal Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sirajul Islam said, “Upon receiving the news of the accident, the police visited the scene and the hospital and collected primary evidence. Necessary legal action will be taken after a detailed investigation.”
