‘Awami League has gone mad as soon as July comes’

It has been alleged that a reward has been announced for the beating of July fighters who participated in the anti-discrimination student movement in Narail. After this incident, former member-secretary of the Narail Anti-Discrimination Student Movement Amirul Islam commented that the Awami League has gone mad as soon as July comes.
Yesterday, Monday (July 6), at around 10:30 pm, Amirul filed a complaint with Narail Sadar Police Station accusing 11 people in this incident. Confirming the matter of the complaint, Narail Sadar Police Station OC Ajay Kumar Kundu said that legal action will be taken after investigating the complaint.
The accused are Bangabandhu National Council, Narail Senior Vice President Md. Mizanur Rahman Nayan (38), Vice President Sourav Karmakar (26), Sajibul Islam Hridoy (26) of Kundasi village of Lohagara upazila, Shahadat Hossain Raihan (25), Emon Sikder (25) of the same area, and Emon Sikder (25) of Charab village. Md. Milan Sikder (29) son of Saiful Jamaddar of Chachowai village, Lohagara, Md. Israfil (25) of Mallikpur village, former joint general secretary of the banned organization Chhatra League of Lohagara upazila, Md. Sajib Chowdhury (26) of Kameshwarpur village of Kashipur upazila, Md. Abdullah Al Jaber Lotus (40) of Kalampur village of Kashipur, Lohagara upazila, Md. Zubair Sheikh (20) son of Mohsin Biswas of Narail village of Narail municipality and Shibanandpur village of Chandibarpur union of Sadar upazila.
The complainant Amirul Islam mentioned that the accused are posting various provocative posts on social media Facebook, various fake videos and announcing financial rewards of 50,000, 1 lakh, 2 lakh, 5 lakh taka etc. if they can kill the leaders of the anti-discrimination student movement including me. Which is a threat to our lives.
In this context, Amirul Islam, member secretary of the Narail District Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, said, “The Awami League has gone crazy since July. They are fleeing abroad or to unknown places and are making such threats. It is important to bring them under the law. We have come under the law. We want redress, but if we do not get redress, we are ready for further action.” In this context, Abdullah Al Jaber, one of the accused, said, “I do not know the complainant. I do not know those who have been accused with me either. The allegations against me are baseless and harassing.”
