July 4, 2026: What is the price of 22-carat gold bars?
After reducing the price twice in a row, the Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has increased the price of gold in the country’s market twice more. In the latest increase, the company has increased the price of 22-carat gold bars by Tk 4,374 including VAT to Tk 2,28,556.
BAJUS gave this information in a notification on Friday (July 3) morning. The new price came into effect from 10 am on that day. The notification said that the price of pure gold in the local market has increased. As a result, the new price of gold including VAT has been determined considering the overall situation.
According to the new price, the price of 22-carat gold bars (11.664 grams) in the country’s market will be Tk 2,28,556 including VAT. In addition, the price of 21-carat gold bars has been fixed at Tk 2,18,292, 18-carat bars at Tk 1,87,440 and 1,53,148 per bar under the conventional method. Which came into effect from 10 am that day.
