One dies of dengue in 24 hours, 163 hospitalized

One person has died of dengue in the country in the last 24 hours. During this period, 163 new people have been infected and hospitalized. This information was given in a press release regarding dengue sent by the Directorate General of Health Services on Wednesday (July 1). The release said that one patient who died of dengue in the last 24 hours is a resident of Mymensingh division.
It was further informed that in the last 24 hours, 46 people have been hospitalized in Barisal division, 27 in Chittagong division, 23 in Dhaka division (outside the City Corporation), eight in Dhaka North City Corporation, 17 in Dhaka South City Corporation, 24 in Khulna division, 14 in Mymensingh division and four in Rajshahi division. The Directorate General of Health Services said that as a result, the number of deaths from dengue this year has reached 19.
