Motorcyclist killed after being crushed under bus
Enamul Haque (35) was killed after losing control of his motorcycle when it was hit by a truck in Baraigram, Natore. The accident occurred on Sunday (June 28) afternoon on the Banpara-Hatikumrul highway in the Raina Bharat Hat area of the upazila. The deceased Enamul Haque is the son of Sheikh Sadi of Charkar village in Munshiganj Sadar upazila.
According to police and local sources, Enamul Haque had left for Dhaka on a motorcycle with his friends from Chapainawabganj. When he reached the Raina Bharat Hat area yesterday afternoon, a truck hit his motorcycle from behind. As a result, he lost control and fell on the highway. At that time, a passenger bus coming from behind crushed him and he died on the spot.
On receiving the news of the accident, Banpara Highway Police Station reached the spot and recovered the body. Necessary legal action has been taken in this incident. Traffic on the highway was slow for some time after the accident, but the situation returned to normal later. Banpara Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Moniruzzaman said that the actual cause of the accident is being investigated by reviewing CCTV footage. Besides, the process of taking necessary legal action in this incident is underway.
