Youth stabbed to death by teenage girlfriend

Syed Abdullah Siam was stabbed to death by his teenage girlfriend in Chauddagram, Comilla. Police have arrested two people, including the accused girlfriend, in this incident. The incident took place on Monday (June 29) morning in Lakshmipur village of the municipal area. The deceased Syed Abdullah Siam (20) is the son of Haji Enamul Haque of the same village. Police have arrested his girlfriend Naima Jahan and the deceased’s friend Aryan Khan Mahid from the scene.
Police and locals said that Siam’s love affair with Naima Jahan developed through talking on the mobile phone. They spent several nights at a residential hotel in Dhaka. Recently, Siam consumed drugs and destroyed Naima’s three-month-old fetus. Later, when Naima pressed for marriage, Siam became hesitant. In the meantime, Siam offered her 20,000 taka to come to his house in Lakshmipur village. Although she could not raise the money, the girlfriend came to Siam’s old house on Sunday night. Siam, Naima and Aryan spent the night in a room there.
In the morning, Siam asked Naima to leave the house. At one point in the argument, Naima stabbed Siam in the stomach inside the house. Her friend Aryan was present there at the time. Hearing Siam’s screams, the people around rushed to take him to the hospital, where he died. On receiving the information, the police recovered the body of the deceased and arrested the two.
Chauddagram Police Station OC Arif Hossain confirmed the matter. He said that the accused Naima Jahan has been arrested. The knife used in the murder has also been recovered. Basically, they are lovers. We are investigating the incident from beginning to end.
