Mother dies in road accident on way to meet daughter at son’s wedding
A housewife died after falling from a motorcycle on her way to meet her son’s wedding in Bhola’s Monpura. The accident occurred on Sunday (June 28) night on Ahid Memberhat Road in Uttar Sakuchia Union of the upazila. The deceased Monowara Begum (43) was buried at the family graveyard after the funeral at 9 am on Monday (June 29). She is the wife of Siraj, a resident of Dasherhat area of Hazirhat Union of the upazila.
It is learned that Monowara Begum fell from the motorcycle on Sunday night while going to meet her son’s wedding. Later, she was rescued and taken to the hospital where the doctor on duty declared her dead. In this regard, the officer-in-charge of Monpura Upazila Health Complex Dr. Manjil Morshed said that the housewife injured in the accident died before being brought to the hospital.
Monpura Police Station OC Mazharul Islam said the body has been handed over to the family as there was no complaint from the housewife who died in the motorcycle accident. An unnatural death case will be filed at the police station in this incident.
