Iran claims to have destroyed 8 US military installations in Kuwait and Bahrain
The US and Iran have been engaged in a series of attacks since a memorandum of understanding was signed on June 17. In response to the latest US attacks, Iran has launched strikes on US Gulf allies Kuwait and Bahrain. On Sunday (June 28), Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it had attacked US military installations in the two neighbouring countries of Kuwait and Bahrain.
The IRGC said it carried out the strikes in response to US attacks on Iran. The IRGC also warned that any future aggression would be met with a “severe response”.
The IRGC also claimed that eight key military installations were destroyed in the attacks on the Ali al-Salem base in Kuwait and the US Navy’s 5th Fleet base in Port Salman, Bahrain.
