Prime Minister arrives in Beijing

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has arrived in Beijing from Dalian, China by high-speed (bullet) train. He left Dalian in Liaoning province for Beijing by bullet train at 2 pm local time on Wednesday (June 24) and arrived there at 5:35 pm.
Earlier, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman attended the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual conference ‘Summer Davos’ held in Dalian at 10 am local time. More than 1,700 representatives from political, business, academic and media circles from more than 90 countries and regions participated in the conference. Prime Minister Tarique Rahman arrived in Dalian from Malaysia on June 22 on a three-day visit to China.
