‘Chashma Said’s’ throat slit body recovered from bush

Police have recovered the throat slit body of a young man named Said Sardar alias ‘Chashma Said’ (32) from Jessore. The body was recovered from a bush near his house in Raghurampur village of Arabpur union in Jessore Sadar on Wednesday (June 24) morning. The deceased Said Sardar is the son of Naya Sardar of Raghurampur village.
According to police and local sources, there are multiple cases against him, including weapons, extortion, attempted murder and drugs. Locals said that they became suspicious after seeing blood in the bush near the house in the morning. Later, they went to the spot and saw Said Sardar’s throat slit body lying there. A sharp knife was lying next to him. Then the locals informed the police.
Then the police went to the spot and recovered the body. Inspector Kazi Babul of Jessore Kotwali Police Station said that Syed left the house at around 11 pm on Tuesday. He did not return home that night. This morning, locals found his body. After that, the police recovered the body and sent it to the hospital for autopsy.
He said, who and why committed the murder is not yet known. The police have started investigating the incident and are working to find out the reason. The inspector said, there is a drug den next to the deceased’s house. Besides, there are 12 drug cases against him.
