Jubo Dal leader Mukul expelled in Shibir leader murder case

Gaibandha District Jubo Dal has expelled Jubo Dal leader Mukul from the organization after he was involved in the murder case of Bonarpara Union Shibir President Saifullah in Saghata Upazila of Gaibandha. The District Jubo Dal said that this organizational action has been taken against him on charges of violating party discipline and being involved in the discussed murder.
A notice issued by the District Jubo Dal said that the matter against Bonarpara Union Jubo Dal convener Mukul was being monitored seriously after allegations of involvement in the Shibir leader murder case were raised.
After reviewing the investigation activities of the law enforcement agencies and information published in various media, he has been expelled from the primary membership of the party and the post of convener of Bonarpara Union Jubo Dal as per the instructions of the Central Jubo Dal. The statement also said that the Jubo Dal does not support any kind of criminal activity, violence or illegal activities.
It is worth noting that Saifullah, the president of the Central Chhatra Shibir, was killed in a clash in Bonarpara on Sunday (June 21). The incident created widespread tension in the area and law enforcement agencies started an investigation. Legal proceedings are underway in the murder case and various issues are being investigated for the sake of the investigation.
