India: OMC raises base price by 3% for upcoming chrome ore auction
Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) has scheduled a chrome ore auction for 108,600 t on 19 Jun’26, with offered volume down by 23,200 t m-o-m. Base prices for grades above 40% have been raised by 3% (INR 730-938/t). Rise in ferro chrome prices in June and upcoming monsoons could likely be the reasons for hike in base price.
