One dead in north London train collision

One person has died and several others have been injured in a collision between two trains in north London. The accident occurred when the front of one train collided with the rear of another. The news agency Reuters reported this information in a report on Friday (June 19).
Reuters reported, citing British Transport Police, that the incident occurred in the town of Bedford, located about 100 kilometers north of London. Multiple emergency services were sent to the scene and the injured were taken to hospital. The East of England Ambulance Service said that an air ambulance also took part in the rescue operation. After the accident, authorities urged local residents to avoid the railway lines.
