5 killed in head-on collision between bus and ambulance in Faridpur
Five people were killed in a head-on collision between a bus and an ambulance in Nagarkanda, Faridpur. The accident occurred at around 10:30 am on Sunday (May 24) in the Shankarpasha area of the Dhaka-Faridpur highway.
According to police sources, all the deceased were passengers of the ambulance. However, the identities of the deceased are not yet known. They further said that the police and fire brigade reached the spot on receiving the information and started a rescue operation. In addition, the police said that the injured have been rescued and sent to the hospital.
