Iran won the war: Former Israeli security chief

Former Israeli security chief Giora Eiland has claimed that Iran won the recent conflict. According to him, both the US and Israel are now facing difficult strategic challenges in this situation. In an interview with Israel’s Channel 12, he said, “Iran has won this war, maybe by a small margin, but it is a clear victory.”
According to Eiland, Iran’s leadership has been steadfast throughout the conflict and has been able to demonstrate their capabilities. As a result, Tehran will be able to move into a stronger position in negotiations with the US and its allies.
He also said that Washington is now “under clear pressure.” He claimed that the main goal of the current diplomatic efforts is to end the conflict, not Iran’s nuclear program. He described it as a difficult situation for both the US and Israel.
