Autorickshaw driver murdered by slitting throat in Gazipur

A miscreant slit the throat of an autorickshaw driver in the Ujarpara Mohar Bari area of ​​Gacha police station in Gazipur metropolis. The incident took place on Monday (May 11) night. The deceased autorickshaw driver is Shuvo (16), son of Md. Amir Mia of Gobindashree area of ​​Madan police station in Netrokona.
Gazipur Metropolitan Gacha Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Md. Mamunur Rashid said that Shuvo used to drive an autorickshaw from a rented house in Sharifpur area of ​​Gazipur metropolis. He left the house in an autorickshaw yesterday evening. In the morning, locals found his throat slit in the Ujarpara area. On receiving information, the police went to the spot and recovered the body of the deceased.
It is believed that the miscreants slit his throat at night and fled in an autorickshaw. The body has been sent to the morgue of Gazipur Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital for autopsy. Legal action is being taken in this regard.
