12 May 2026: What is the price of 22 carat gold bullion?
Gold prices have increased again in the domestic market. Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has increased the price of 22 carat gold bullion by Tk 2,216 to Tk 2,44,711. This new price came into effect from 10 am on Thursday (May 7). Gold is being sold at the same price today (May 12). BAJUS said that the new price of gold has been determined considering the overall situation of the increase in the price of pure gold in the local market.
Earlier, BAJUS had adjusted the price of gold on May 6. At that time, the price of 22 carat gold per bullion was Tk 2,42,495. So far this year, BAJUS has adjusted the price of gold in the domestic market 63 times. Of these, the price has been increased 35 times and reduced 28 times.
