Rain and storm forecast in 10 districts, warning at river ports

A storm with a maximum speed of 60 kilometers per hour may blow over 10 districts of the country. At the same time, rain or thundershowers have been forecast. This information has been given in the weather forecast for the country’s inland river ports till 1 pm today, Tuesday (May 12). It said that temporary gusty winds at a speed of 45 to 60 kilometers per hour may blow over Dhaka, Rangpur, Dinajpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Comilla and Sylhet regions from the west or northwest.
The river ports in these areas have been instructed to display warning signal number 1. Another weather forecast said that temporary gusty winds or squally winds and rain or thundershowers with thundershowers may occur in one or two places in Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions by 6 pm.
Also, the forecast says that the day temperature may increase slightly across the country and the night temperature may remain almost unchanged. In the last 24 hours, the highest temperature in the country was recorded at 35.5 degrees Celsius in Khulna. On the other hand, the lowest temperature was recorded at 20 degrees Celsius in Dhaka. At the same time, the highest rainfall of 95 mm was recorded in Tentulia.
