The country’s Housing Foundation said that repairs have already been completed on about 37,000 units of the thousands of residential and commercial structures damaged in the war in Iran. The organization said that the repaired properties include residential buildings and businesses. However, post-war reconstruction work is not yet fully completed.
According to Iranian authorities, the full reconstruction and repair process of the damaged structures will continue, which will be completed by March 2027. Meanwhile, the United States will provide information to ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, but this will not be a formal ‘escort mission’ nor will the US Navy directly escort commercial ships.
According to a CNN report, the US move aims to make navigation in this waterway, which is important for international trade, safer.
