Son dies after falling from father’s motorcycle on way to madrasa in Comilla

A boy tragically died after falling from his father’s motorcycle on his way to madrasa in Comilla’s Debidwar municipality. The deceased child has been identified as Khaled (7). He is the younger son of Moazzem Hossain Swapan Bhuiyan of Gopalnagar village in Rasulpur union of the upazila. The accident occurred at 9:30 am today, Sunday (May 3), in front of Debidwar Azgar Ali School on the Comilla-Sylhet regional highway.
It is learned that father Moazzem Hossain Swapan Bhuiyan left his house on a motorcycle to join Debidwar Babus Salam Madrasa as a teacher and get his younger son Khaled admitted to the same madrasa. When their motorcycle reached Debidwar Azgar Ali School, his son Khaled fell from the motorcycle. At that time, he was crushed by the wheels of a covered van coming from the opposite direction and died on the spot.
In this regard, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Debidwar Police Station Md. Moniruzzaman said that the police reached the spot after receiving the information about the accident, but no one involved in the accident was found. The matter is under investigation and necessary action is being taken.
