Missing Bangladeshi student Nahida Bristi in the US has died

Bangladeshi student Nahida Sultana Bristi, who was missing in the US, has died. Her elder brother Zahid Hasan Prant confirmed the news. He gave this information in a post on social media Facebook this Saturday (April 25) morning. Zahid Hasan Prant wrote in the Facebook post, “Our sister is no longer with us, Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun.”
Nahida Sultana Bristi was a former student of the 13th batch of the Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering (ACCE) Department of Noakhali University of Science and Technology (Nobipro). Earlier, police recovered the mutilated body of another missing student, Jamil Limon. On Friday (April 24) local time, the local law enforcement agency in Hillsboro, USA, said at a press conference that Jamil’s body was recovered from the Howard Frankland Bridge in Tampa, Florida.
The deceased Jamil Limon was pursuing a PhD in the Department of Geography, Environment and Policy at the University of South Florida in the United States. On the other hand, Nahida was engaged in doctoral research in chemical engineering. Police said that Jamil Ahmed Limon was last seen at his home in Tampa around 9 am on April 16. He has not had any contact with his family since then. On the other hand, Nahida Sultana Brishit was also last seen at around 10 am on the same day. At that time, she was in the university’s Natural and Environmental Sciences building.
