Professor Abdullah Abu Sayeed meets Prime Minister

Professor Abdullah Abu Sayeed, founder of the World Literature Center, met Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. The meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s Office in the Cabinet Division of the Secretariat on Thursday (April 23).
The meeting was attended by Education Minister Dr. ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon, Cultural Affairs Minister Nitai Roy Chowdhury, State Minister Ali Newaz Mahmud Khayyam, State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj and Advisors to the Prime Minister Mahdi Amin and Dr. Zahed Ur Rahman.
The meeting discussed ways to inculcate the habit of reading books among primary, secondary and higher secondary level students. It was decided that the World Literature Center will work jointly with the government to inculcate the habit of reading books among students. Senior officials of the World Literature Center and the Ministry of Culture were also present at the time.
