Baltic Dry Index gains d-o-d amid firm Capesize momentum
The Baltic Dry Index gained 1.7% (44 points) d-o-d to 2,567 on 17 Apr’26, supported by firm Capesize momentum amid stronger cargo volumes and tightening vessel availability.
- Capesize: BCI rose 2.53% (102 points) to 4,128.
- Panamax: BPI increased 0.25% (5 points) to 1,975.
- Supramax: BSI inched up by 1.22% (17 points) to 1,415.
