India: Bids exceed base prices at Vedanta-FACOR’s ferro chrome auction
At Vedanta-FACOR’s ferro chrome auction today, the larger lot (Cr: 56% min, 10-150 mm) achieved an H1 price of INR 116,000/t ($1,253/t) exw, higher by INR 1,000/t ($11/t) from the base price of INR 115,000/t ($1,243/t). The smaller lot of the same grade and size settled at INR 116,600/t ($1,260/t) exw, again slightly higher than the base price of INR 115,500/t ($1,248/t) exw.
