Baltic Dry Index rebounds to 1-month high amid post-holiday activity
The Baltic Dry Index hit one-month high, rising 1.4% (29 points) to 2,095 on 07 Apr’26 against 2 Apr. The hike was supported by improved post-holiday chartering activity and firmer demand across key routes.
- Capesize: BCI increased 2% (62 points) to 3,148.
- Panamax: BPI rose 1% (18 points) to 1,802.
- Supramax: BSI gained 0.6% (7 points) to 1,231.
