Foreign Minister to visit India today
Foreign Minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman is leaving for India today (April 7) to participate in the Indian Ocean Conference to be held in Mauritius from April 10 to 12. En route, he will stop in New Delhi and pay a courtesy call on the country’s Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri.
It is learned that the meeting will emphasize the stability and continuous development of bilateral relations based on mutual respect, trust and interests. It is expected that this visit will lay an important foundation for elevating the areas of cooperation between Bangladesh and India to a more fruitful and sustainable level in the future.
It is worth noting that the Foreign Minister will be accompanied by the Prime Minister’s Foreign Affairs Advisor Humayun Kabir during the Mauritius Conference and India visit.
