30 people hospitalized for dengue across the country

No one died of dengue in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 30 dengue patients have been admitted to various hospitals across the country. This information was given in a press release regarding dengue sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Sunday (April 5).
It said that among the patients hospitalized for dengue in the last 24 hours, 14 are in Barisal division (outside the City Corporation), four in Chittagong division (outside the City Corporation), two in Dhaka division (outside the City Corporation), three in Dhaka North City Corporation, one in Dhaka South City Corporation, three in Khulna division (outside the City Corporation), two in Rajshahi division (outside the City Corporation) and one in Sylhet division (outside the City Corporation).
In the last 24 hours, 27 dengue patients have been discharged from the hospital. A total of 1,834 patients have been discharged from the hospital so far this year. As of April 5 this year, a total of 1,940 people have been infected with dengue. Of these, 62.1 percent are men and 37.9 percent are women. No one has died of dengue in the last 24 hours. This year, four people have died of dengue.
From January 1 to December 31, 2025, a total of 1,22,861 people have been infected with dengue and a total of 413 people have died. From January 1 to December 31, 2024, a total of 1,11,214 people have been infected with dengue and a total of 575 people have died. From January 1 to December 31, 2023, a total of 1,705 people have died of dengue and a total of 3,21,179 people have been hospitalized due to dengue.
