Some political forces want to use religion as a tool and they also deny the spirit of the Liberation War. Local Government Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has made such comments. He said this at a greeting exchange program on the occasion of Easter Sunday at Madani Avenue in Bhatara, the capital, on Sunday (April 5) morning.
The minister said that there is no place for division on the basis of religion for political reasons. We must rise above all kinds of differences or violence and build a Bangladesh of mutual love and brotherhood.
Meanwhile, regarding the ongoing energy crisis, the minister said that the government is trying to import fuel from abroad. However, even though the minister of the concerned ministry says that there is sufficient fuel oil in stock, some people are repeatedly taking fuel on bikes, which is very sad, the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development commented.
