India: Bid prices rise in latest CR busheling scrap auction
A leading four-wheeler manufacturer successfully auctioned 5,200 t of CR busheling scrap (low manganese) from its Gurgaon facility on 27 Mar’26. Winning bids hit INR 35,250-35,450/t ex-works, INR 650-850/t higher over the 26 Feb auction, signalling robust scrap demand fuelled by ongoing material shortages. As per BigMint analysis, the March average price for loose CR busheling scrap in Ludhiana hovered at INR 38,260/t DAP.
