India: Around 40,000 t of iron ore tailings booked in SAIL Barsua’s auction
The Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction for 39,970 t of iron ore tailings (Fe 58.84-62.22%) from its Barsua mines in Odisha on 23 and 24 Mar’26. According to sources, the entire quantity was booked at INR 4,550-5,400/t. Prices are on ex-mines basis and include royalty, DMF, NMET, and extra premium.
