India: Over 120,000 t of iron ore booked in Karnataka auctions
At Karnataka-based auctions on 20-21 Mar’26, 124,000 t of iron ore were booked.
- NMDC Kumaraswamy: 80,000-t fines (Fe 60.14-60.64%) and 40,000-t CLO (10-40 mm, Fe 61.86%) booked at INR 2,814-2,901/t and INR 3,744/t, respectively.
- U Krishna Prasad: 4,000-t fines (Fe 61.63%) booked at INR 4,059/t against the base price of INR 4,050/t.
U Krishna Prasad’s prices include taxes, while NMDC’s exclude taxes.
