Hasnat Abdullah’s promise live at midnight

Member of Parliament Hasnat Abdullah gave a detailed explanation about the development activities and administrative activities of his constituency on social media at midnight. He said that as per the promise made before the elections, all government activities of Devidwar will be presented to the people through transparency and accountability.
Yesterday, Tuesday (March 10), the Member of Parliament of Comilla-4 (Debidwar) constituency went live from his Facebook page at midnight and spoke in detail about the current situation and future plans of the area.
Hasnat Abdullah said that after taking oath as a Member of Parliament on February 17, he has mainly worked on various development projects, administrative structures and quality of government services in the area in the last three weeks. He said that as per the promise made before the elections, information about every government work will be presented to the people.
Identifying the poor condition of the roads in Devidwar as the main problem, he said that several road development works are currently underway under the Roads and Highways Department, LGED and PIO offices. The target has been set to complete these works before the monsoon. He has given strict instructions to the contracting companies to complete the work on time while maintaining the quality of the work. At the same time, he has called on them to gradually stop the tendency of doing multiple works.
Highlighting the information on the government allocation on the occasion of the upcoming Eid, he said that 20,635 VGF cards have been allocated in 3,081 Debidwar municipalities and 15 unions. He has directed the local public representatives to reach 10 kg of rice against each card to the actual beneficiaries. He also mentioned the plan to develop 10 infrastructure projects and re-excavate two canals under the Kabikha program.
Hasnat Abdullah has announced the opening of a Facebook page named ‘Jababidihita’ to maintain transparency in government activities. Information related to project allocation, progress and all government assistance will be published regularly on this page. In the live broadcast, he sought the cooperation of the local administration and public representatives and gave a stern warning against corrupt officials and secretaries. He said his main goal is to bring the benefits of government services directly to the common people.
